Natum de Maria Virgine;
Vere passum, immolatum in cruce pro homine,
Cujus latus perforatum unda fluxit sanguine,
Esto nobis praegustatum,
In mortis examine.
Translation:
Hail, true body of Christ, born of the Virgin Mary:
On the cross thy sacred body for all was crucified,
blood and water streaming from thy wounded side.
Be for us a foretaste of heaven at death's final hour.
